Drift Cameras can’t take the heat of the Sun

Be ware if you keep complaining to Drift Innovations Support:

A Smart "Virus" could be on the way to your PC and infiltrate as a Trojan Horse making your PC an recoverable, not even if you make a System image from external HDD, it will corrupt your HDD so badly that after recovery is compleate and the PC says cleaning up then restart it will frezze showing a black page with the HP simbol; Spread the word in all the blogs all over the World there is a Smart Virus like I never seen before, I just knew my PC was infected when microsoft 2010 starter did not want to load, my mistake no to run a good antivirus that you can find in the net don't cost you anything for the free trial, then do the recovery, after running the anti virus the disc C will be in better condition to restart without problems, My mistake I did a Recovery inmidiatly from a System image in my external HDD up load ok but when come to restart never happen; Sorry for them "Drift Inovations" I have 20+ laptops to use from my bikers members to keep spreding the word about how much the Drift Cameras Suck they make a huge mistake messing with the President of a Biker Club.........
Drift Innovations has been taking the customers for a ride, never telling the consequences of leaving the cameras for a few hours in the Sun; Now Associated with Takealot and Full Throttle South Africa they will be taking more people for a ride, I had a call from Takealot saying the HD170 have nothing to do with the new models, bull$t! Take a look at the HD170 and the new models, they are just smaller with the bigger size screen and more electronics that will malfunction on the heat of the sun; One of the owners say to me: warrick@actiongear.co.za I remember the user guide on all the early cameras advised that the operating temperature of was from 0 - 40 degrees Celsius; If that was true we will not having this conversation, another reason that they are taking the customers for a ride; Drift are Sport cameras they should be shield it properly from any excessive heat.                 And what is worst not having a designated technician in every country that is sold to check damage cameras with the warranty expire. Yes your Drift camera anytime will stop working just throw it away, "Action Gear" they will say to you “no warranty, nothing we can do”; That’s not the way to do business!.
On the 2/12/2015 I send my wife with my Drift HD170 that I bought from Action Gear South Africa 3 years ago, what happen is that after it been in the sun for 3 hours did not want to come on again; Hope everybody understand that after the marketing guy of “Action Gear” told my wife (after she make it there all the way from Norkem Park: “Sorry nothing we can do" and knowing “Action Gear” won the best customer service Award, my wife was almost in tears and that is unforgettable!. If you need to know I was injure in that day because an idiot biker could not stop in time. How the man responsible of the marketing in the office of “Action Gear South Africa” and winner of the “Best Customer Service Award in SA e-commerce” say that to my wife? ; That means that there is no support at all for a product after is out of the warranty; How such a huge company does not have designated places in every country, where the customers can take the cameras out of warranty to be check, if is worth it to repair it or get a new one; In this moment If a little thing happen to a Drift camera after warranty you have to ditch it and buy a new one, (if you can afford it) even that look like new, not a scratch, just may be a bad contact inside, that what exactly happen to my camera, I send it to a camera guy and this was his quote: Severely contaminated and faulty internal processor circuit and power supply; Parts + Labour. ZAR 2980 around 200 dollars, just what I pay for that camera new 3 years ago. I found the "Aquiles hill" of the Drift cameras, they can't stand the heat! Everybody should know that and must decide in to buy a Drift camera that can’t stand the heat or “Go Pro” because after “Drift Innovations never warn anyone or in the manual of the possibilities of the camera been damage if left in direct sun light, they could say from 0 to 40, I just prove it with my camera that what they say is a lie we cannot trust anymore the cameras from Drift Innovations, don't take a chance buy only "Go Pro" cameras they are the best and they come in different affordable prices.

I will make a blog for everybody in the world to know what could happen after buying a “Drift Innovations” camera.
Somehow I'm glad this happen to my Drift camera exposing a weakness in the Drift Cameras and showing the poor or no support for cameras out of warranty in South Africa and around the World by “Drift Innovations” is my responsibility to advise the people what it been going on.
